Micah missed out on the last adventure, so he wants to get in on this one.
Ty doesn’t. XD
I actually wasn’t intending to have Bryant answering in panel one. The original script had Katyn ask him and then Trey interrupting right away, which is why Bryant has that sort of “why is everyone ignoring me?” look in panel 3. I decided to have him reply, though because I thought he deserved more of a voice in the conversation, and also because I drew him mouth open for some reason in panel one, and it felt more proper that he have a line, haha! (Though if I kept him silent, it would’ve been easy enough to photoshop his mouth closed, so it really was both reasons.) So if the dialogue feels a little choppy, it was changed last minute.
Bryant’s view on all of this is basically very neutral. He doesn’t have any problem with the werewolves – they mostly left him alone, and some of them were willing to come to his rescue, but he also feels no real loyalty to them. Their shared curse doesn’t equal shared experiences or sympathy…but likewise, he has no real loyalty to Katyn or her friends, so he’s not going to fight side by side with them either. He’s willing to lead them together, and if they all want to fight each other when they get there, that’s their business. That’s what he thinks anyway.
I love the last panel, though. The drawing may not be great, but for some reason it cracks me up. I also legitimately like Katyn in panel 3. I like some of this! ISN’T THAT WEIRD?!
Thanks for reading! See you next week! (I’m working on the final page of this chapter already…I don’t think I’ve ever been this far ahead! WHOO HOO!)
