Elrek’s predecessor. He was a bit of a jerk. Even Sadryn didn’t like him. Another thing that got cut, however, was the Dark’s Keeper. The Guardian here mentions him being “soft-hearted” – he was actually a pretty good guy! I wanted to show the options, that good and bad depend a lot more on the people involved than any particular ideology…but it would’ve gone on forever for no reason if I’d left it. Maybe I’ll write it out sometime, but for now, you have to take my word for it. (Or not, feel free to ignore this as well.)

I can see where ideology comes in here, light and darkness on their own are simply different forms of power. The person using that power is what determines the outcome being viewed as good or evil.
