Very good diplomacy there, Chaerius. Well done.
In case anyone is wondering why Chaerius can’t just go dragon-form to free himself, it will get explained, but I don’t mind saying it now. In the same way that Ry’s fire can’t be doused, the Dark Guardian’s ice can’t be shattered. It will eventually melt, but it won’t shatter, so if he tries to go big, he’ll just crush his feet.
Thanks for reading! See you next week!
What if he went the other way though? Could he shrink smaller to give room to wiggle out. He would have to be careful but his feet are so close together I can’t help to think if he was willing to stretch like a cat and maybe lose some fur he could probably do it.
I love the comics by the way.

That’s not a bad idea actually. I haven’t really brought it up in the comic, but it’s actually pretty hard for the dragons to learn to shrink themselves down that small. That’s why even though it’s easier for them to hide when they’re smaller, most dragons have turned themselves into big cats and only Chaerius has made the effort to get to house cat size. That said, he probably COULD go smaller, but it would be an effort, and I’m not sure how long it would take.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the story so far though! I hope it keeps being entertaining going forward! 😀
