Yep, this chapter’s all about this guy.
Just to note: I’ve been going through some stuff IRL – it’s nothing serious, but it’s left me a bit depressed and that has had an effect on how the comics look. Mostly in the coloring, but the lineart has gotten a bit sloppy in places as well. So my apologies for the look of things for the foreseeable future. I’m trying my best, but things just aren’t coming out as well as I’d like. You’ll also see a note like this on TM next week, since that’s when it started affecting that comic.
Thanks for bearing with me! See you next week!
Typo on panel 3- it’s supposed to be “this is thE last” you missed the E. 🙂
Sorry to hear real life has been rough! I hope things will get better soon, but as far as the comic your story and art are still looking great. 😀

Fixed…ish. 😀 It’ll work, anyway. Thank you!
And thanks! It’s no big deal, everybody goes through stuff and I’m no different. 🙂 I just wanted to let people know why the comic was a bit sloppy for a while. I promise I’m still trying!
I appreciate it a lot, though! I know it could be better, but I’m glad it’s not terrible at least. 😀

What, like, the coloring’s a bit more moody, darker?
How perfectly appropriate considering who we’re looking at.
(Not trying to trivialize it or anything, just saying I don’t notice much problem myself. Except for that red guy. His colors look weird, but then I figure that’s just his weirdness.)
Obvious plot twist: that IS the keeper, not just some flunkies. (C’mon, man. Need to keep better notes, being the boss and all. :P)

Well if you want particulars on this individual page, the foreshortening is terrible, the lineart is flat, the backgrounds are dull and Aion still looks like a short 40-year-old rather than a kid…but admittedly, those were all problems my art had before, I just feel like they look a little worse than usual now.
Basically the problems are actually pretty slight and it’s the sort of situation where it’s not really bad enough to warrant a warning, but it is bad enough that if I didn’t say anything I think it would be noticed and people would think I was just being lazy. So I just wanted to make sure people were aware that wasn’t the case and this wouldn’t last forever.
…except the draclings. You’re right, they’re supposed to be ugly. 😀 …that’s a bit of worldbuilding I never really got a chance to explain in the comic. Ah well…
Aion doesn’t keep notes, though, he has the red guy to do it for him! You know, the guy he yells at and belittles and ignores. That guy. 🙂

The guy who’s really, what, hundreds of years old?
Him looking like a 40 year old kid is probably time telling him to get off his ass and do something. Or just time trying to make him look his age when it can’t. Or something else, but him looking old as a kid feels fitting.

f it works for you, then that’s awesome! Like seriously! 😀
…it just isn’t what I was trying to do, so I find it disappointing. That’s all.
((And sorry for the late reply, it doesn’t always send me emails when I get comments for some reason.))
