To answer your question, Bryant, because I needed the week off.
Sorry about that all. I know no one was asking this question, but sometimes I feel bad that the werewolves of this comic don’t follow the horror movie trope of what makes a werewolf and basically just make them characters like any other. I imagine if a werewolf was actually the main character of the story I’d delve into that more, because it really does make for interesting drama…though maybe not.
Anyway, this is why it is the way it is in the comic. It’s for a story reason, and I hope it makes some sense.
Thanks for reading this anyway. Next week will be the chapter cover and then we’ll go on to fin out what’s happened with Ry.
Me again. I know know one asked, but I was wondering. So you must be pyschic. ^_^. I sort of thought of them as tanks of the Dark armies, ferocious, when set loose in battle with the right commands. (“Cry ‘Havoc!’ and let slip the dogs of war!!!” etc.) The rest of tge time I guessed they did their own thing. But yes this does clear things up. I’m glad yours are thinking and speaking creatures instead of the mindless bloodthirst beasts that typical lycanthropes are portrayed to be. They have expressions. You didn’t make them cutesy or give Bryant a Louis complex (tormented with regrets ala Interview with a Vampire) at least I don’t get that impression. He’s a guy with an unfortunate condition, but he’s working with the cards he got dealt. Plus he reminds me of Bigwig and that’s always a bonus in my book. 😉

ANY relation to Bigwig is a good character. 😀
You pretty much nailed Bryant on the head, though. He’s really just trying to do the best he can with what he’s got. He’s a lot of fun to write and to draw, and I’m really glad it comes across!
(Also, SO sorry for the delay in me replying and in your comment posting. I had to approve it before it’d appear. It usually sends me an email when I have a comment waiting, but it didn’t this time for some reason, so I didn’t see your comment until I logged in to post the next page. I’m sorry about that!)

That’s alright. I knew you’d find it eventually. My favorite part about Your werewolves are the ears. They’re so expressive!

I wanna see a Human/Unicorn creature owo Also, if Unicorns where the equivalent of werewolves, then what is the Light equivalent of Vampires? owo

If I remember my original notes correctly, dryads were the vampire equivalent for the Light. Stealthier, more magical, but fewer of them in total.
As of right now, my assumption is that the dryads really are all dead, but if I come up with a good idea for them, they could pop up again in the future. 🙂
